Ryan Davis, Esq.

Managing Partner · Golden State Workers Compensation

Advocacy with a personal purpose

Ryan Davis’s commitment to injured workers began with someone close to him. After watching his uncle struggle with a serious work injury and frustrating insurance company decisions, Ryan chose a career helping people facing similar challenges.

As managing partner of Golden State Workers Compensation, Ryan brings that personal motivation to his workers’ compensation practice. His background also includes professional athlete representation; his firm biography describes his work as an NBA-certified agent and identifies Jason Terry among the athletes he has represented.

Ryan earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2014 and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2015. Beyond his practice, his published biography highlights volunteer work with Berkeley Youth Alternative, including mentoring young people, career guidance, and youth sports, along with speaking engagements for law students.

His story reflects a connection to the people behind the paperwork: workers whose injuries affect their livelihoods, families, and futures.

Brian founded Mitchell Law Corporation in 2016 after years leading his own practice. His work includes catastrophic injury cases involving burns, electrocution, and explosions, as well as cases tried before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.

He served as president of the San Diego chapter of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association in 2004 and 2005 and became president of its Los Angeles chapter in 2019. His firm biography also describes legislative advocacy for immigrant workers.

Peter Hsiao, Esq.

Principal · California Workers Compensation Lawyers

Experience on both sides. Focused on injured workers.

Peter Hsiao brings a perspective shaped by experience representing both employers and injured workers. He began his legal career handling workers’ compensation matters for defense contractors and staffing agencies before turning his practice exclusively toward injured workers in 2011.

As principal of California Workers Compensation Lawyers, Peter uses that background to understand the interests and pressures involved on each side of a claim. It is a practical foundation for representing people who need guidance through California’s workers’ compensation system.

Peter completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002. His State Bar profile lists Mandarin and Taiwanese among the languages he speaks.

Rooted in Southern California, Peter’s published biography emphasizes his appreciation for the region’s diversity. Away from work, he enjoys traveling, golf, and cars—interests that offer a glimpse of the person behind the professional role.
